This is beautiful. iTunes today discovered the wonderful axis of retro soundtracks, straight up funk, and no wave anxiety and proceeeded to put it all together in a lovely sequence as follows:
01: Message to Love - Jimi Hendrix (NY Pop Festival, Courtesy of RBally)
02: I Want Candy (Kevin Shields Remix) - Bow Wow Wow (Marie Antoinette Soundtrack)
03: Wig in a Box - Polyphonic Spree (Wig in a Box)
04: Cold Bear - The Gaturs (Saturday Night Fish Fry)
05: Chorale Lick - Serena Maneesh (S/T)
06: Higher and Higher - Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti (House Arrest)
07: Contort Yourself - James White and the Blacks (NY No Wave)
08: Lowdown Popcorn - James Brown (The Document II)
09: Ono Soul - Thurston Moore (Psychic Hearts)
10: Re Bop Electronic -Garcons (Mutant Disco)
Favorite Song: Chorale Lick/Higher and Higher.
Least Favorite Song: Wig in a Box
Favorite Album: Serena Maneesh/House Arrest
I couldn’t have made a mix this good if I’d tried.

I am still trying to set up my OWN iPod Nano since September. I officially am a proud owner, no more borrowing the kids iPods. Just been a bit busy though.
On my list are:
“I saw her in the Anitwar Demostration”Jens Lekman (Oh You’re So Silent Jens)
“Solo le pido de Dios” The Mammals (Departure)
“One Tribe” Orleans
“1,000 Miles from You” Jon Pousette Dart
“I am a Patriot” Jackson Browne
I have disappeared from TTC. Sighing…

As usual, great lists from all contributors.
Welcome back, Lizzy! You know that you can use iTunes, which is free, even without an iPod, right?
Also, you should check out this post that I wrote on John Hall if you haven’t already seen it.
