George Allen, who is nothing if not full of shit, said the following at his concession ramble:

“My friends, sometimes winds — political or otherwise — can blow the limbs off branches or break limbs. But a deep-rooted tree will keep growing.”

Um, OK, George, but remember, you don’t have the acting chops that Reagan had, so don’t try to come off all statesmanlike and Morning in America on our ass, ’cause we’re not buying it.
