An Update

To my amazement, I’ve made significant progress on my dissertation over the past five months; mercifully — oh, so mercifully — the end is now in sight.

I plan to start posting again in early June. Until then, it’s just me and Fido Dogstoyevsky, slugging it out to the bitter end.

So glad to hear it’s going well. It will be great to have you back so I can take you off “hiatus” on my blogroll. :-) Meanwhile, it’s National Poetry Month. Any chance you could post some favorite stanzas if you have time?

Thanks, guys. You know, Tony, it’s killing me not to be part of poetry month this year — I had so much fun doing that last year. But, right now, I have a choice between finishing my degree and blogging.

I never posted here before… but was sad that your dissertation shut down your posting. An odd whim brought me here to see if you’d left any word, so I’m glad to see you’re still at it.

Have been realizing lately that it’s now been *10 years* since I wrote my dissertation. Whoa. How can it be? The more amazing thing is that now I realize that was one of the most valuable times in my life. No, it wasn’t all fun, but it did have it’s moments of wonder.
