Friday Random Ten

To play: put your digital music player on shuffle, click play, and list the first ten songs that show up. You must resist the temptation to click past the bad or embarrassing songs. Leave your list in comments or trackbacks.

Here’s my list:

2. “He Was a Friend of Mine” — Cat Power (Peel Session)
3. “Means to An End” — Joy Division
4. “N.Y.” — Doves
5. “Kaze Wo Atsumete” — Happy End (Lost in Translation soundtrack)
6. “1917″ — The Fiery Furnaces
7. “Time to Build” — The Beastie Boys
8. “Biscuits” — Ghostface Killah
9. “What a Shame” — The Rolling Stones
10. “Radio Cure” — Wilco

Favorite Song: “He Was a Friend of Mine” — but it’s a very soft favorite.

aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhhhhhh…my ipod’s not working!
everything seems to be there when it’s plugged into itunes, but when i try to use it standalone it appears blank! anyone ever had this happen to them?
if someone can help me, please email me. pretty please help me. someone?
(if you could see the pathetic look on my face, you’d want to come to my rescue.)

and (gawd i hate itunes) does anyone know of some way i can save my playlists w/o manually putting the songs into my library?

and why can’t you shuffle through itunes anyway? that so sucks.

Matt:

you *can* shuffle through iTunes, somegirl — that’s how I make my lists (I don’t have an iPod).

The shuffle button is located in the lower left hand corner; it has two criss-crossing arrows. Click that on, then click play, and you should be in business.

somegirl:

ok i feel really dumb now matt. (used to that though)
i have never taken the time to learn itunes…well, it’s more like my attempts haven’t stuck.
got any suggestions for my other problems?
