After many months of abstinence, Luna finds that she can not resist the call of an old vice:

She must have been thirsty after all that napping.

Cat and tonic! How cute!!

Suzy Shedd:

Excuse me, but cat owners who care ALWAYS have a glass for their cats to drink from. The other choice, the dog’s bowl, is only interesting if the dog is there to be distressed.

[…] This cat’s ownee entitled this Friday Cat Blogging post “ Luna Falls Off the Wagon.” No word on whether Luna feels that she has a problem drinking that way. […]

Carnival Of The Cats #83

Izzy, our fearless explorer is presenting this weeks Carnival of the Cats. Mooching for treats that is.

Taste’s better from the tap.
First up from ACM, Pixel up-close and adorable, definitely a treat if Izzy weren’t fixed.
Caesar guard…

Gigolo Kitty:

Why will cats always go for the water glass? My kitty learnt the lesson when he got his oversize head stuck in one and I laughed rather than help him out.

kate.d.:

i made the mistake of letting my cat drink from a water glass on an endtable during this unbearably hot summer. i allowed it twice (dumping the water out after she was finished of course!), and next thing you know she had decided the water glass on my nightstand is her personal property. she’s gone from skittering away from the glass when caught, to just looking guilty, to now ignoring my presence when i catch her at it.

i created a monster.

Rahel:

Beautiful cat!
