Returning to the online world after a week off of the pixelated sauce is a bit of a shock. A mild case of jet lag and a late night plane trip add to the sense of unheimlich I feel as I stare at my monitor and peck at the keyboard with clumsy fingers.

What’s not shocking is that a wonderful group of guest bloggers kept this site humming over the past seven days. I’d like to send my sincere appreciation and deepest thanks to them:

Once I’ve shaken off this travel hangover (perhaps with the help of this fine product, dispensed to me by a friend last week), I’ll share some photos and thoughts about the trip.
