What’s scary about a terrorist attack is not only how much physical damage it causes immediately, but how quickly it can lead to a widespread culture of fear in which the threat of attack is a constant presence.

I wish peace upon the families of those killed; quick recoveries upon those injured; and sanity upon British politicians, who will need it in the days to come.
